As a child, I never knew what I wanted to become. I would spend hours playing with my
toys, creating adventures about a boy who lived in the woods and his search for his father. Even
though I made this story back in 2001, I still remember everything I created. It wasn’t until I
learned about animation that I realized that I want to make this story come to life.
As for my influences, Gábor Csupó and Arlene Klasky both who created the Rugrats,
which was the first animation I remember watching. Other animation artist who also inspire and
influenced me are Genndy Tartakovsky, Butch Hartman, Alex Hirsch and Rebecca Sugar,
Eiichiro Oda and Akira Toriyama. Each who shows taught me the importance to character, and
story.
I want to be an animator because when I was a child I enjoyed watching cartoons and now
that I’m older and working on animated projects I get the same enjoyment. I hope one day the
stories I end up making will create the same enjoyment to other children as much as cartoons did
for me when I was their age.
